La buena gestión realizada a lo largo de los dos años al mando de Destroyers, fueron más que argumentos suficientes para que los socios del club, en asamblea general, religieran como presidente a Pedro Rivero Jordán por una gestión más (2013-2014).
El informe económico de la gestión 2010-2012, que fue leído por Édgar Terrazas y luego el informe de gestión, dado por Rivero Jordán, provocaron la ovación de los presentes, que con cánticos le pidieron que siga al mando de la institución, porque aún quedaba mucho por hacer y que con su liderazgo los objetivos podían ser cumplidos.
Luego de tantas palabras de elogio y de reconocimiento al trabajo realizado, ‘Choco’ Rivero hizo uso de la palabra nuevamente y por segunda vez consecutiva se le volvió a entrecortar la voz al agradecer por la confianza de los presentes y aceptó el reto de seguir al frente de Destroyers por dos años más.
El aclamado presidente fue más allá del agradecimiento; tras recobrar el habla pidió el apoyo de todos para hacer posible el engrandecimiento del club y así garantizar que la semilla sembrada crezca y dé frutos.
La asamblea no había terminado ahí, pues Wálter Castedo, expresidente de la Federación Boliviana de Fútbol (FBF), hizo uso de la palabra y pidió a los presentes que le dieran a Rivero la potestad de elegir él a las personas que lo acompañarán a lo largo de estos dos años, pedido que tuvo el respaldo esperado para la conformación de su directorio.

La alegría en Destroyers, por la relección de su presidente, puede continuar hoy, si el equipo vence esta tarde en el estadio Juan Carlos Durán a Real América (14.00), en partido programado por la segunda fecha de las revanchas del torneo de la Primera A, de la Asociación Cruceña de Fútbol (ACF). En el mismo escenario, pero a las 10:00, Argentinos Juniors jugará con Royal Pari, mientras que a las 16:00 lo harán Oriente Petrolero con Real Santa Cruz.
